Here’s what we’re doing, to ensure your comfort and wellbeing at Silky Otter Cinemas Orakei. Some of these are measures we’ve always taken, while others are enhanced.
We have significantly increased our hygiene stations around the cinema. Alcohol-based hand sanitiser is readily available at various spots on the counter, and by the bathroom.The team are extremely diligent with hygiene measures including:
Our cinemas are only 44 seats and each cinema is individually air conditioned, reducing your contact with a large group of people.
We have single use menus available, that can be disposed of after each customer.
We’re encouraging online bookings, and practicing contactless payment.
If you’ve booked online, using your e-ticket you can head straight into the cinema.
If you have booked tickets, and are feeling unwell, we’ll happily arrange a refund prior to the session starting – just give us a call.
If any of our team are unwell, we have asked that they stay at home. If they have travelled, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who does, we have asked them to seek medical advice, self-isolate for the recommended period and to contact us immediately.
As a 100% New Zealand owned business, we’re focused on ensuring the health and safety of you our valued customers and our team, but to also playing our part in protecting New Zealand as a whole, as best we can. We are following guidelines and advice from both the World Health Organisation and our own Ministry of Health.
